Student-athletes, you’ve already won. Throughout this upcoming season you're gonna make new friends, explore new trails, find out who you are and most of all, have fun. We’re reinventing middle and high school sports, and you're at the forefront, congratulations.
Coaches, you’ve taken on a very important task — you must guide your student-athletes through this season and empower them to not only be strong athletes, but strong people as well. NICA is nothing without you. We can't thank you enough for taking time out of your busy lives to lead the next generation of mountain bikers.
Parents, we can’t wait to see you later this year at our weekend events. Thank you for supporting your student-athletes and the Delaware Interscholastic Cycling League. Your support means the world to us (and them).

The Delaware NICA League is working to expand its ability to provide opportunities to underserved students in Delaware. Some of our teams include riders who do not have bikes nor rides to practice. Trek has generously provided a limited number of scholarships to help with bikes and helmets but we are still in need of an effective means to get the kids to weekly practices at the parks in our area. If you or anyone you know may be able to help us in solving this problem it could really help us in providing more opportunities to these kids.
The Ideal solution:
A bus or van(s) with capacity for bikes and kids Large rack or small trailer for bikes A responsible licensed NICA coach to volunteer time weekly to drive Some other creative combination of vehicles and drivers that could help tackle this issue.
Send us a message if this resonates with you and have any ideas on how to help us break down or lessen these barriers of entry to our sport.
