Happy 2024 Delaware!  We hope you had a Merry Christmas and that the new year is treating you well. Although this wintery mix 🥶 ❄️ is most likely keeping us from riding bikes 🚵‍♀️ as much as we would like we have some exciting news to share along with a couple of really cool NICA National updates. Read on below to hear about how our local race community is supporting us and the newly launched NICA Alumni Network, and also the opening of the NICA Awards Nominations 🎖.

Sunday, April 28. Save the date!  Our good friends and league supporters Circus Bear Productions and the Mid Atlantic Super Series are stepping up to partner with us in our mission of getting more kids on bikes in 2024. 

The Spring XC is the long-established XC early season race for the Mid Atlantic Super Series with over 600 racers annually, this is the largest race in the series.  Proceeds of this race will go directly to Delaware NICA to advance our critical programmatic areas and league operations to grow our reach to youth in key communities - Wilmington, Newark, Middletown and Milford, Delaware.  We are excited and very grateful for the opportunity to be involved!

Exciting News! NICA Awards Nominations are officially OPEN!

The annual NICA Awards recognize the student-athletes, coaches, and volunteers who bring NICA's core values to life. They celebrate community, partnership, effort, and impact. These awards shine a light on individuals whose leadership and dedication to the sport of mountain biking have had a meaningful impact — whether that impact has been felt by their team, league, or the entire NICA organization.
